NCC January Update

A Chairde,

I hope that you are well and enjoying singing the second group of songs. Firstly, just a few updates from the National Committee.

A reminder that the second Refresher Course will take place this Thursday 19th Jan at 7pm in St. Colmcilles JNS, Knocklyon, Dublin 16. We would love to see as many of you as possible there.
All Musical Directors/Assistant Music Directors will start Rehearsal 2 with Laudate Dominum.
Please make sure you have looked at the teaching notes for the songs from the December email and also in the Teacher's area of the website. There are also Lyrics for all songs in MS Word format.
The official Launch of the 2023 NCC will take place next week on Wednesday 25th January. A small representative group of the 2023 choir will perform three pieces and it will be covered by RTE's news2day programme. Tune in next week!
As part of the planning of the National Concert Hall concerts, we are asking all schools to complete a Choir Composition Form. This should be the most up to date information of your choir - the gender breakdown and the various parts. Please complete this carefully and send it back this week, before Friday 20th January.
Please keep the NCH Concert Dates, 27th, 28th, 29th May 2023, in your diary. As usual, schools with the greatest distance to travel will usually perform at the Saturday concert.
