The National Children's Choir (NCC)/Cór Naisiúnta na nÓg is a unique choral experience for primary school children in Ireland. The aim of NCC is to foster a love of choral singing amongst the primary school children of our nation. The vision of the choir is to bring massed choral singing of the very highest quality to the reach of every primary school, regardless of size, pupil numbers or even facilities and to further the cause of music in primary schools.

The National Children’s Choir is committed to ensuring the safety, well-being, and dignity of every child involved in our activities. We adhere to the Tusla Children’s First Guidelines and all relevant national child protection legislation.

In all instances of Child Protection, the National Children’s Choir will work with the school of any affected child in implementing this Child Safeguarding Statement and will aim to work in partnership with them, aligning our principles of safeguarding children with their processes and procedures. Our commitment is to create a safe environment where children can freely engage in musical and educational experiences without fear of harm.

The Child Safeguarding Statement outlines how we plan to achieve this and includes the necessary procedures we follow to safeguard the children under our care.
